Tagging

by on November 22, 2005

Tags are pieces of information separate from, but related to, a data object. Frequently, tags are descriptors assigned by individuals to help the community sort and organize information. For more on tagging, read Research Buzz’s Why I Love Tagging. Amazon recently introduced tagging. To see it in action, log into your Amazon account, go to a product page, and click on the “What’s This” link next to the “Your Tags” input field.
